College Diary

I shall begin this journey from class 11th, when i started to prepare for JEE mains and advanced exams (said to be one of the toughest exams in India).

10th class boards result-

Well i was not a brilliant student in class 10th. But because of my poor score in 9th class I worked hard in class 10th to improve my score. Finally after hard work and luck (i believe in luck) i was able to score 93 % in my boards. Which was a decent score in state boards. I was good at biology and maths, so i was so confused about which stream should i choose and of course as most of us do, i went looking on internet. I came to know that doctors have a high respect in society and it was very tough to get that position. But today engineering has become common (as everyone say). And also my best friends were going on that way, so i also followed them and chose medical. But at the very first lecture of biology, i lost all my interest in it. And because of my childhood interest in technology i went for engineering. As all of us want  IITs, BITS, NITs, IIITs etc, i also wanted that. so I passed to 11th class and started preparing for JEE exams.


11th class

Well, in 11th class the situation was quite similar to that of 9th class. I was not able to make good grades in my subjects specially chemistry. I was more focused in coaching classes than to school. So in my school grades went down, and in coaching also i was not scoring well. I thought that i  have to perform well in both the classes, school as well as coaching. Finally, i worked hard at the end of the semester and was able to maintain an average score.

12th class

12th class was like discussing , studying,  and doing everything that is needed to crack jee exams. I had great confidence in the starting of the semester and it was going down gradually just like e^-x graph (mathematically). At last i had so less confidence that i almost left the thought of cracking IITs. But still i wanted the top NITs or BITS. So I worked so hard (never done before) that fortunately i made it into NIT rourkela. However  I wished to be an IITan and felt sad to not get into IITs but after few days i became fine again and a thought came to my mind that "okay, u could at least get into NITs). I convinced myself in that way. And after that collge life beings.

College Excitement

 Date- 17-07-2016 So i started my journey from jaipur to cuttack, orissa. I was so much excited about college, as it was one of the colleges I wanted to get into. Finally I said good bye to my mom and my younger brother and started my journey along with my father. Seriously, i didn't feel unhappy or sad while saying them good bye even though i knew that i shall not live my previous life again at my house for the next 4 years. we reached at cuttack next day and all my relatives were so glad to see me and they were proud of me and my achievement. Final year part 11.7 : Long way to go

Hey guys, So it's been a while I haven't written anything so today I thought to write something. Since the last 15 days I have been feeling less bored as compared to previous time. But still boredom is at its peak. Today it was declared that lockdown is extended till 3rd May. And yes what else could I expect. I knew that lockdown will be extended and it did. Let's talk about something else now. So, I bought Netflix subscription and a friend of mine bought Amazon prime subscription thus since the last 2 weeks I have been spending my day and night watching all the stuff on it. I started with a series "Vampire Diaries" and literally binge watched all the episodes. I have completed till season 3. I won't watch further as the interesting part is over. It really was a good series. I have been having dreams about vampires lately. Now talking about other things that I did. Final year part 9: My Hostel Room

Today I thought that I should share something about my hostel room. In my first year I was in GDB hall of residence. Forgot the full form of GDB though. My room number was B-224 (this is what I remember). My roommate was from Kolkata. Yes, it was a shared room. Shared by two. Then in my second year I was in D block ground floor in MSS hostel and it was a shared room too. My room mate was from Rajasthan. I actually changed a lot of rooms in my second year. If you read my previous Posts from 2nd year, you would know how many rooms I have changed. So now let's come to the one I am staying in currently. My room number is A120 in MSS hostel. This is a single room. It is also in the ground floor so during summers there is some relief. Also it is in the most quietest area of the hostel which is a major reason why I like my room.
