GOODBYE 2018
END OF THE 5th SEMESTER:
So, finally my 5th semester has come to an end however results are yet to come. I am not expecting a good result this year. I tried a lot but still I don't think this time I shall be satisfied with my score. Let's not talk about exams and results now.
So this year 2018, was quite awesome. I learned a lot of new things and had many new experiences. I actually enjoyed this year. I kind of feel that this was the first year after I entered this college which was great. I made some new friends. More specifically, I made a few female friends this year. One of them is really very kind and I feel a lot more comfortable to talk to her as compared to others. Also this year some of the things I shouldn't have done is wasting hell lot of time on my phone. I used to spend half of my day scrolling my facebook and instagram feeds. It really was a complete wastage of time. I really regret wasting that time.
This was the year when I didn't even feel the need to go home. I now have started liking my hostel more than my home. I still remember my first day at Rourkela when I literally cried for home. But now I am used to my lifestyle and actually I enjoy a lot this way.
Currently, I am in Bhubaneswar for a winter training at OPTCL. Out of all the options, coming to bhubaneswar was the best I think. On 12th I attended my cousin's marriage. Even if I had gone to Jaipur and pursued some training there, I had to come to Bhubaneswar with my mom and dad to attend the marriage. So it was the best decision to stay at bhubaneswar for a month, attend my brother's wedding and complete the training program which is based on the topics that I shall be studying in the future. This way it will help me further as well.
So this way my vacation will come to an end after 15 days. After coming to bhubaneswar I realized that may be life would have been better if I had spent my childhood here. It is more "Our kind of place". No culture difference, No language difference, relatives are nearer and a lot more things. But anyway since I cannot turn the time around so I should just deal with it.
Now we all are heading towards the New year 2019. Let's just hope that something good happens next year so that I can have something to remember for the rest of my life.
