Summer Vacation 2019 Part 2
Hey again,
Hope you all are doing well. So finally my summer vacation is going to end soon. I am a bit tensed and also excited for my final year at my college. The last 3 years at college were pretty good and I hope that this year will also go well.
Let me now tell you about my summer vacation. I have already told something about my vacation in my previous post. So I shall continue after that.
This summer, the most exciting and unexpected thing that I did was vising Pragpur, Himachal Pradesh after 8 years. It is the place where I used to live 8 years ago. I have spent my whole childhood here. I got to meet some of my old friends and I am extremely happy that I met them after so long. They also were glad to see me. A friend of mine helped me a lot. He invited me to stay at his house. I am very thankful to him. We visited a lot of places on a single day which I had never even imagined but My FRIENDS, they are really awesome. They made it possible for me.I don't know if I shall ever visit that place again. I had to change 5 Buses to get to that place and that to in hot summer which was quite hectic. But all this completely paid off when I met my old friends.So this is the end of one interesting thing this summer vacation.
Other than this I bought subscription of NETFLIX and watched a lot of series and movies during the period of my internship. I also made a lot of friends at IIT Ropar, all of them were interns. I enjoyed a lot there. I used to go on long walks after dinner and play table tennis with one of my friend. I really enjoyed my time there. I also went to chandigarh few times. Once with my friends and then once alone to meet an old friend.
On the very last day of my internship, my mentor gave me a treat too, she was really very helpful during my internship. She is very friendly and humble. I usually am quite shy when it comes to having a conversation with girls. But she was really very friendly and I felt very normal while talking to her.
But as we all know, Life is not a bed of roses. It's not like everything went well this summer. One day, when I was at IIT Ropar, suddenly I felt severe toothache and in no time it spread all over my mouth. I was in a lot of pain for three days. The pain usually would suppress during the day and come back in the evening. There were nights when I couldn't even sleep. The pain was unbearable. So finally I decided to visit a dentist. I took an appointment with a dentist on the very next day and after getting checked up I came to know that my wisdom tooth was creating problem as it was growing horizontally and putting pressure on other teeth. This was the reason of pain. Dentist told me to have this tooth extracted but since I was going back home soon, I decided to have a temporary solution till then. Dentist then gave me some painkillers and antibiotics. I took them and after 2 days I was fine. After I reached home I visited one dentist again and he told me that I had to visit the dentist once again after treatment and that was after a week. But I was at home for less than a week. Dentist told me that it is not a very big problem, I can get this extracted next time. Till then I can take those antibiotics and painkillers. So till now I am not feeling toothache but I think It would come again. And that would really be a problem. We will see what happens.
Well so I am going back to college on 20th and I really am a bit worried this time. I have written a lot today. I shall stop now. This is all about my summer vacation this year. It really was a memorable summer vacation and most probably the most unique summer vacation till now.
